Mada participation in The Second Arab International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education

Mada Center participated in the Second Arab International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education, organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). The conference, held on October 29-30, 2024, at ALECSO headquarters in Tunis, brought together experts and representatives from over 20 countries to discuss the evolving role of AI in education. This year’s edition spotlighted advancements in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and their impact on educational systems.

In a key panel discussion on “Challenges and Ethics in Using Generative AI in Education,” Mada’s representative addressed critical issues of equity and fairness in AI applications. Highlighting the importance of inclusive AI, Mada emphasized the need for AI systems to be free from biases, to ensure that AI technologies serve and represent all learners, including those with disabilities. He also underscored the imperative of Accessibility for AI-Powered Tools and the Inclusion of Learners with Disabilities in AI Development, stressing that an ethical and human-centered approach to AI in education is essential to meet diverse learning needs.
